
Dr Kar Yin Fok (MBBS BSc(Med)Hons MS MMed(ClinEpi) FRACS) is a specialist colorectal and general surgeon. She completed her general surgical training within the Western Sydney network and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020.
Following this, Dr Fok undertook further subspecialty training in acute surgery at Nepean Hospital and colorectal surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital. She then completed the two-year Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) training program at Westmead Hospital and also the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. She furthered her skills in robotic colorectal surgery with a fellowship at Sydney Adventist Hospital.
Dr Fok is a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Australian National University and is actively involved in surgical education and research.

Dr Fok performs a range of colorectal and general surgical procedures. She is trained in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic and laparoscopic approaches, and regularly performs colonoscopies for investigation and bowel cancer screening.
